Superio Bio AS focuses on combining deep biological insights with a unique technology platform to develop the next-generation tailored drugs and vaccines, and has received a Proof-of-Concept Commercialization grant from the Research Council of Norway. The company is based in Oslo and will officially be launched in the fall.

The company was founded by PRIMA group leader Prof Jan Terje Andersen, professor emerita Inger Sandlie (also a Nykode co-founder and PRIMA mentor), PhD candidate Aina Anthi from PRIMA, and the Danish innovation firm Marigold Innovation.

Marigold Innovation, founded in 2018, partners with academic researchers to mature promising medical projects toward proof-of-concept. This collaboration aims to bridge academic research and biotech innovation.

Andersen and Sandlie are also co-founders of Authera, established in 2022.
